subject Charlotte Kristensen's Father's Day treats

본문

My selection of delicious drinks for Father's Day (16 June) is curated to reflect distinct personalities. For the ‘innovative' dad, top bubbles from a young yet acclaimed Spanish wine region.  For the ‘cool' dad, a cheeky canned cocktail that really hits the spot. For the ‘suave' dad, a delicious UK-made vermouth revered by top mixologists. And for the ‘classic' dad, a food-friendly red wine that appeals to a multitude of palates. Recaredo Terrers Brut Nature Corpinnat 2019 (12%), £33.50, thewhiskyexchange.com.  Innovative: a complex yet fresh bone-dry sparkling wine.

It's from the Corpinnat region, just south of Barcelona, established in 2019 by vintners dedicated to excellence.   Spicy Margarita (20.5%), £5.80, whiteboxcocktails.com.  Cool: a cocktail as fresh and spicy as Soho House's prized picante. This tequila-based tipple with thirst-quenching citrus and a kick of chilli will have dad breaking out the dance moves.     Sacred English Amber Vermouth (21.8%), £21.30, amathusdrinks.com.  Suave: with orange peel and floral nuances, this stars in the vesper martini at Dukes Bar in London's Mayfair.

The bar was frequented by Ian Fleming, and the vesper featured in his Bond novel Casino Royale.   Domaine Pardon Cuvée Tim Régnié 2023 (13.5%), £14.99, Waitrose.  Classic: unlike simple, fruity Beaujolais nouveau, slot adalah; http://Bridgejelly71>j.U.Dyquny.uteng.Kengop.enfuyuxen@naturestears.com, this style, from the region's Régnié cru, is more akin to a red Burgundy, with notes of violet and wild berries, plus gently gripping tannins.
