Stephen Graham appeared in good spirits as he posed hand-in-hand with his wife Hannah Walters at the Jeanne du Barry UK premiere at The Curzon Mayfair in London on Monday. The actor, 50, who married actress Hannah in 2008, opted for smart-casual attire, wearing a black polo shirt under a lightweight jacket in the same colour. He wore a pair of black jeans and had on some comfortable trainers in the same colour. Hannah - who met Stephen when they were training at the Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance before growing closer on the set of drama This Is England in 2006 - looked chic in a floor-length black dress for the evening.

She wore a long shawl over the top and carried a black handbag with her to match the rest of her ensemble.  The couple could be seen smiling as they arrived before posing together on the red carpet. Indie period drama Jeanne du Barry sees Johnny Depp attempt a comeback with his first film in four years. The 60-year-old actor plays King Louis XV in this period drama alongside actress, writer and director Maiwenn in the film, which is set for release in the UK on 19 April.  The film had its world premiere as the opening night film of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, released theatrically in France on the same day.

A new trailer was released earlier this month, beginning by revealing the film is set in France 1768, showing Depp enter a room flanked by many guards. A title card reads that his character Louis XV, 'had many lovers... but only one stole his heart,' while a male character tells another that the King must meet Jeanne. Maiwenn's title character is introduced, Túi xách nữ thời trang đi làm công sở nữ making a regal introduction, as she's told not to look the king in the eyes and, 'one does not show feelings at Court'.

Jeanne completely disregards protocol and looks Louis right in the eyes as she slowly gives him a curtsy, while someone says, 'Who does she think she is?' One of Louis' servants tells Jeanne that the King wants to meet her, as she enters his chambers and tells him she's 'honoured' to be there. He offers her champagne before they kiss, as a title card reveals this is based on, 'the untold true story.' King Louis is seen walking into a regal event with Jeanne and is heard saying: 'I want to be by her side.

When the sun rises, and when it sets.' He's seen presenting her with a magnificent necklace, before telling her he wants her to stay with him at his palace in Versailles. A female character says there is, Túi xách nữ thời trang 'A vile rumour that has Versailles abuzz,' while some of the other women conspire to get Jeanne removed from the court. 'You are in danger, madame,' a male character tells Jeanne,' as they show critic quotes praising Depp's performance, his first ever using the French language.
